Pastry Chef Jose Tellez has been working in the bakery industry for over 30 years. His delicacy and talent have allowed him to create some of the most delightfully and enchanting cakes. He began his career at the luxurious five star Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, CA. He gradually began to earn his way up to Assistant Pastry Chef.  After 10 successful years with the Fairmont Hotel, he received a once in a lifetime opportunity. He was offered the Pastry Chef position at the once distinguished Radisson Hotel in Sacramento.
He commenced working with dedication and perseverance. Shortly after beginning his employment at the old Radisson Hotel, the Grand Sheraton Hotel was seeking his skills and talent. With Chef Tellez' high recommendations from the Fairmont Hotel and his strong background, the Grand Sheraton Hotel gave him the best opportunity in his career as Head Pastry Chef, and he proved himself worthy. After three successful years he decided to use his talent in more challenging way. He started to work for one of the most famous bakeries in Sacramento, Ettore's Bakery.
In 2005, he went on another challenge of his own and became an entrepreneur. He opened the doors to the new Pastry Heaven in spring 2006. Since then Chef Jose Tellez has been dedicated to making bakery one of the finest in the Sacramento area. His mission is to provide the best cakes and pastries.
